The goal of this project is to provide children and needy families with better access to food and a more healthful diet through nutrition education efforts.

RCAM focuses its efforts on assisting elder Russian and Vietnamese speaking senior. Our goal is to encourage program participants to make healthy food choices within a limited budget and choose physically active lifestyles consistent with the current Dietary Guidelines for Americans and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) food guidance.

As the part of this project RCAM conducted nutrition education sessions for three different groups.

Meet our participants:

Group 1  Group 2  Group 3
During the classes our participants not only learned about importance of daily excercices and intake of 3.5 cups of fruits and vegetables, but also developed their own Healthy Recipes.
